Kuala lumpur: The 17th World Ageing Festival 2026, set to unfold on 14-15 April at the Marina Bay Sands Expo and Convention Centre, is poised to bring together more than 8,300 attendees. This prestigious event, organized by Ageing Asia Pte Ltd, will include over 5,000 trade participants and 130 speakers from over 40 countries. The festival aims to delve into the opportunities and challenges posed by an ageing population in a rapidly greying world.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, the festival is organized in collaboration with Singapore Management University (SMU), serving as the Co-host and Academic Pillar Partner. The event will have the honour of welcoming Ms Indranee Rajah, Minister in the Prime Minister's Office, Second Minister for Finance and Second Minister for National Development, as the Guest-of-Honour on its opening day. Mr Dinesh Vasu Dash, Singapore's Minister of State for the Ministry of Manpower and the Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth, will grace the second day as the Guest-of-Honour.
