YPM Rewards 38 Bagan Datuk Students For STPM Excellence

Kuala lumpur: A total of 38 students from two secondary schools in Bagan Datuk received the 2025 Sijil Tinggi Pelajaran Malaysia (STPM) Excellence Incentive from Yayasan Pelajaran MARA (YPM) in recognition of their outstanding performance in the examination.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi announced that the recipients were students from Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan (SMK) Khir Johari and SMK Tun Abdul Razak. He expressed pride in the achievements of the students, particularly noting that three youths from Bagan Datuk have secured places at Al-Azhar University to pursue studies in Islamic Syariah and Usuluddin. Additionally, 23 students received the YPM Education Compassionate Fund.

Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, who is also the Member of Parliament for Bagan Datuk, emphasized the importance of education as a transformative investment for the community. He urged parents to continue supporting their children's educational pursuits, with hopes that more students from Bagan Datuk would advance to higher education institutions both locally and abroad.

The Deputy Prime Minister congratulated the recipients and encouraged them to strive for excellence and make their district proud.
