YSIJ and Yayasan Sena Allocate RM300,000 for Knee Surgeries

Segamat: Yayasan Sultan Ibrahim Johor (YSIJ), in partnership with Yayasan Sena, has announced a generous contribution of RM300,000 dedicated to total knee replacement surgeries at Sena Specialist Hospital in Segamat. This initiative aims to assist those in need of such medical procedures.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, a post on the official Facebook page of Sultan Ibrahim Sultan Iskandar highlighted that this funding will benefit 12 selected patients. The post emphasized that all surgeries will be performed at Sena Specialist Hospital, utilizing the institution's medical expertise and modern facilities.

In a ceremonial gesture, the replica cheque was presented by YSIJ managing trustee Datuk Avinderjit Singh, Yayasan Sena director and Sena Healthcare Services Group managing director Tan Sri Dr Tan Boon Hock, and YSIJ chief executive officer Mohd Anizam Jamian to Sena Healthcare Services Group chief executive officer Michelle Tan.

This collaboration between YSIJ and Yayasan Sena coincided with the inauguration of the Sena Specialist Hospital in Segamat. Mohd Anizam expressed optimism about this initiative, describing it as a promising step forward in expanding healthcare support to the community.

He further stated, "We hope initiatives like this can continue and serve as a catalyst for more collaborations with other foundations and corporate partners in the future."
