YTL AI Labs Powers Yes To Become Malaysia’s AI-First Telco

Kuala lumpur: YTL Power International Bhd's Artificial Intelligence (AI) Labs (YTL AI Labs) has partnered with YTL Communications' mobile operator Yes to introduce ILMUchat, Malaysia's AI, aiming to expand access to advanced AI technologies for Malaysians nationwide.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, a joint statement from YTL AI Labs and Yes highlighted that ILMUchat, developed by Malaysians, integrates world-class AI capabilities with an understanding of local language, culture, and context. YTL AI Labs CEO Foong Chee Mun expressed that this partnership is a significant milestone, with ILMUchat now available to over three million individuals across the country through Yes, establishing it as Malaysia's AI-first telco.

YTL Communications CEO Wing K. Lee emphasized that by offering complimentary access to ILMUchat Pro, the company ensures that millions of Malaysians benefit from the latest AI advancements, powered by technology developed in Malaysia. He added that non-Yes customers can experience the advanced network paired with Malaysia's sovereign AI, starting at RM10 with the Yes 5G advanced prepaid starter pack.

The statement also mentioned that users could create presentation slides, design posters, and build mini-applications and games directly on ILMUchat, apart from text generation. Additionally, they can draft letters, proposals, and messages, sending them via WhatsApp or email with a single click. ILMUchat is accessible on the web, Apple App Store, Google Play Store, and the MyYes App, with an ILMUchat Pro plan providing unlimited access to advanced features for RM50 per month.
