115 Engineers Pass PCE 2025 Enhancing Nation’s Engineering Standards

Kuala lumpur: The success of 115 engineers passing the Professional Competency Examination (PCE) 2025, which qualifies them to apply for registration as Professional Engineers with a Practising Certificate (PEPC), strengthens the reputation of the country's engineering profession, said Works Minister Datuk Seri Alexander Nanta Linggi.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, while congratulating the successful individuals, Nanta stated that the achievement reflects the high level of competence, professionalism, and capability of local engineers in meeting engineering standards recognised nationally and internationally. Out of 583 candidates who took the exam simultaneously in Peninsular Malaysia, Sabah, and Sarawak, 115 candidates successfully passed the set passing level.

"This success is not only a source of pride for the candidates, but also strengthens the reputation of the country's engineering profession," he said in a statement today. The examination was held on Oct 25, last year, for Paper 1 (Common Paper) and Oct 26 for Paper 2 (Discipline-Specific Paper), while the examination results were officially announced by the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM) on Jan 22 and can be checked through the portal.
