Ameen Products Sdn Bhd Expands Into African Market With First Export to Mali

Ipoh: Beverage product manufacturer Ameen Products Sdn Bhd has successfully penetrated the African market, receiving its first order to export seven flavours of the Ameen brand beverage product to Mali. Managing director Mohammed Irfan Amanulla Khan announced that 17,484 bottles, including mango, grape, pineapple, tropical, and rose syrup-flavoured beverages, were shipped to the African nation.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Mohammed Irfan expressed gratitude for the acceptance of their beverage products in Africa, attributing this success to their participation in the Gulfood Exhibition 2025 in Dubai last February. During the event, the company attracted interest from potential buyers. The managing director also noted ongoing negotiations with prospective clients from Senegal and South Africa.

Mohammed Irfan made these remarks during a product container release event, which was officiated by Perak state's Women, Family, Social Welfare, Entrepreneur Development, and Cooperatives Committee chairman, Datuk Salbiah Mohamed, at the Light Industry Park. He further revealed that the total cost of exporting the beverage products was RM90,000. Ameen Products, a family legacy business since 1982, also exports its various flavoured drinks to countries such as Singapore, Brunei, Mauritius, Fiji, and Bahrain.
