Kuala lumpur: Astro Malaysia Holdings Bhd has revealed the continuation of its rewards initiative through the launch of the new Astro BizOne Rewards Campaign, designed specifically for food and beverage (F and B) outlets across Malaysia. This campaign, part of the Astro BizOne package, promises RM17.5 million in guaranteed marketing support aimed at helping these businesses expand their customer base and grow their operations.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, the campaign has transitioned from a lucky draw format to a guaranteed rewards model, ensuring that eligible F and B outlets receive marketing exposure through Astro's diverse platforms, including television, radio, and digital media, upon subscribing to Astro BizOne packages. This strategic shift provides participating outlets with assured marketing benefits.
Previously, the Astro BizOne Rewards campaign supported 200 F and B outlets nationwide, providing them with various marketing benefits. Among these, 87 outlets were promoted through Astro Audio Ads, and 48 outlets each received exposure through video segments on Buletin Awani and Borak SeeNI, significantly enhancing their national visibility.
Tan Sian Tuang, Astro's head of consumer and enterprise business, emphasized the crucial role marketing plays in business growth. He highlighted that Astro's comprehensive media mix offers small and medium enterprises (SMEs) the visibility required for expansion. With increasing marketing costs, F and B operators are continuously seeking effective methods to attract customers, making this campaign a valuable opportunity for SMEs to gain meaningful exposure.
Muhammad Irfan Rifqi Mohamed Azlan, marketing manager at Restoran Nasi Lemak Burung Hantu Gombak, shared his positive experience with the campaign. Featured on Astro Audio Ads, his outlet was introduced to a broader audience, resulting in a noticeable increase in customer footfall and business growth.
Astro further detailed the campaign's offerings, stating that eligible outlets will receive a guaranteed marketing reward based on their BizOne minimum monthly subscription value. For instance, the Astro Audio Ads with Buletin Awani Feature package, with a minimum monthly subscription of RM1,200, offers an estimated reward value of RM163,000, including a feature on Buletin Awani and online coverage on Astro Awani's digital platforms.
Similarly, the Astro Audio Ads with Borak SeeNI TV Feature package, requiring a minimum monthly subscription of RM1,000, provides rewards valued at approximately RM111,000, including a segment on Borak SeeNI and social media exposure to extend reach.
Additionally, the Astro Audio Ads with Digital Magazine Feature package, available for a minimum monthly subscription of RM800, offers a reward value of RM78,000, covering radio ad spots and a feature article on a digital magazine platform.
The Astro BizOne Rewards Campaign is set to run from March 9, 2026, to January 31, 2027. New F and B outlets subscribing to the Astro BizOne package during this period, with a minimum monthly subscription of RM800, will qualify for rewards based on their subscription value.
