CTOS and GB Gold Collaborate to Enhance Security on Digital Platform

Kuala lumpur: CTOS Data Systems, a prominent credit reporting agency and digital solutions provider in Malaysia, has signed a strategic memorandum of understanding (MoU) with GB Gold Sdn Bhd. This partnership aims to bolster digital trust and improve customer protection on the GB Gold platform.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the collaboration involves integrating CTOS eKYC and Group-IB (GIB)'s global anti-fraud technology into GB Gold's user experience. The MoU was formalized at a ceremony held at The Ruma Hotel and Residences, attended by representatives from both organizations, including CTOS Digital Bhd chief operating officer Lee Shin Mei and GB Gold Sdn Bhd chief executive officer Shahfizzam Moideen.

The partnership promises enhanced digital identity verification and fraud detection mechanisms for GB Gold users, ensuring a more secure and seamless onboarding and transaction experience. Lee stated that CTOS is dedicated to helping digital platforms build trust with their users, emphasizing the company's mission to provide regulatory-grade eKYC and cybersecurity solutions that safeguard both businesses and end users.

Shahfizzam highlighted the importance of trust in financial platforms, noting that the integration of CTOS' eKYC and GIB's anti-fraud solutions will help create a secure and transparent gold investment experience. The collaboration also supports national efforts to promote digital financial inclusion, cybersecurity awareness, and responsible investing.
