Kuala lumpur: Destini Bhd's unit, Destini Prima Sdn Bhd (DPSB), has received a letter of award for an extended contract from the Ministry of Defence.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, the contract involves the supply of non-proprietary aircraft spare parts for the Royal Malaysian Air Force, maintaining a total contract value of RM403.75 million. This figure represents a combined ceiling with 29 other contractors, as stated by Destini in a Bursa Malaysia filing today.
The contract's tenure, originally expiring on June 30, 2025, has now been extended for an additional 18 months, running from July 1, 2025, to December 31, 2026. Destini, which operates as a diversified industrial group, confirmed this extension.
DPSB is obligated to provide a performance bond upon receiving government orders. The bond amounts to 2.5 percent for orders exceeding RM200,000 and 5.0 percent for those exceeding RM500,000.
