Kuala pilah: Ten cars were damaged by a fallen tree at Gunung Angsi Ulu Bendul, Kuala Pilah here today. Seri Menanti Fire and Rescue Station Senior Fire Officer II (KUP) Norhirwan Zainal said the station received a call at 11.05 am about the incident.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, in the incident, three cars - two Proton Saga and a Perodua Ativa - were crushed by a fallen tree, while seven others were damaged after being hit by electric cables caused by a collapsed pole. The fallen tree and electric cables have since been cleared, and no injuries were reported.

Norhirwan added that immediate clean-up operations were carried out by the Fire and Rescue Department together with the utility and tree maintenance teams, while Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB) handled the removal of the electric cables.
