FBM KLCI Futures Contracts Decline on Bursa Malaysia

Kuala lumpur: The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contracts on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives ended lower on Tuesday, in line with losses in the underlying cash market.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the October 2025 contract decreased by 2.5 points to close at 1,630.0. The November 2025 and December 2025 contracts both fell by 3.0 points, ending at 1,629.0 and 1,627.50, respectively. The March contract saw a reduction of 4.0 points, settling at 1,606.50.

The turnover for the day reduced to 4,329 lots compared to 4,542 on the previous day, while open interest narrowed to 45,974 contracts from the previous 45,759. At 5 pm, the FBM KLCI itself fell by 8.06 points to 1,630.03, down from Monday's close of 1,638.09.
