Sabah: The number of flood victims in Sabah has decreased slightly to 378 individuals from 117 families this morning, compared to 398 individuals from 126 families last night.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, the State Disaster Management Committee reported that 224 victims from 64 families were evacuated in Penampang, while 154 victims from 53 families were in Beaufort. In Penampang, the temporary relief centre at the Penampang Sports Complex is currently housing 39 victims from nine families. Additionally, Huguan Siau Hall is accommodating 142 victims from 45 families, and Sekolah Kebangsaan St Paul Kolopis is sheltering 43 victims from 10 families.
The committee further stated that all flood victims in Beaufort have been relocated to the permanent relief centre in Selagon. A total of 22 villages have been affected by the floods, with 14 in Penampang and eight in Beaufort.
