A forest fire has been reported near the Denai Alam toll plaza along the Damansara-Shah Alam Elevated Expressway (DASH), affecting an estimated five acres of land. The Selangor Fire and Rescue Department has confirmed the incident, which occurred this afternoon.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the department received an emergency call at 12.58 pm. This led to the immediate dispatch of eight officers and personnel from the Bukit Jelutong Fire and Rescue Station. Ahmad Mukhlis Mokhtar, the assistant director of the Operations Division, stated that the team was equipped with a fire engine and water tanker and arrived at the scene by 1.22 pm.

The fire was reported to be under control by 3.40 pm, though firefighting operations were still ongoing as of 5 pm.
