Kuala lumpur: The Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) has issued a warning indicating the likelihood of thunderstorms, heavy rain, and strong winds across Perak, Selangor, and Kuala Lumpur, with these conditions expected to persist until 9 pm.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, MetMalaysia's statement highlights that the affected areas in Perak include Kuala Kangsar, Kinta, Perak Tengah, Kampar, Bagan Datuk, Hilir Perak, Batang Padang, and Muallim. Meanwhile, in Selangor, the warning covers regions such as Sabak Bernam, Kuala Selangor, Hulu Selangor, Gombak, Petaling, and Hulu Langat.
