Subang jaya: The PENTARAMA X Kelab Malaysiaku programme, launched by the Information Department (JAPEN) in 2024, continues to engage the school community through its unique edutainment approach, receiving positive feedback from both students and teachers.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, JAPEN Director-General Erwin Khairul Ahmad emphasized the programme's role in complementing traditional curriculum and co-curricular education with infotainment and edutainment elements. During a special edition programme at Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan (SMK) Subang Jaya, held in conjunction with the 2026 National Day and Malaysia Day (HKHM) celebrations, Erwin highlighted the initiative's success in fostering closer ties between students and government agencies like JAPEN, while also promoting patriotism among youth.

The collaboration between JAPEN and the Education Ministry (MOE) involved 1,051 members of the SMK Subang Jaya school community, including 975 students and 76 teachers and staff. Erwin noted that SMK Subang Jaya marked the 87th school out of 105 targeted for the programme's implementation this year.

Since its inception in 2024, PENTARAMA X Kelab Malaysiaku has reached 223 secondary schools across the nation, involving over 165,000 students and teachers. The programme aims to introduce the Kelab Malaysiaku initiative to schools, strengthening patriotism, unity, and appreciation of national values among students.

The programme's activities included patriotic song performances, a Sembang Santai HKHM 2026 session featuring discussions on the 1 Rumah 1 Jalur Gemilang (1R1JG) initiative and the Safe Internet Campaign, interactive quizzes, national-themed crossword puzzles, multi-ethnic fashion showcases, and the distribution of Jalur Gemilang flags.
