JPPKK Extends Aid To Family Of Polimas Student After Tragic Accident

Kuala lumpur: The Department of Polytechnic Education and Community Colleges (JPPKK) will assist the family of Politeknik Sultan Abdul Halim (Polimas) student Muhamad Amsyar Muqri Mohd Asri, 18, who died after a rice harvester he rode with three friends plunged into a river at Kampung Sanglang, near Jitra, on Saturday.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, JPPKK's deputy director-general (Planning), Dr Shamsuri Abdullah, stated that the family will receive financial aid, as well as psychological and moral support. He mentioned that Polimas has already reached out to the victim's family to offer assistance, emphasizing the department's commitment to standing with the family during such tragedies to provide comprehensive support.

The body of Muhamad Amsyar Muqri was located at 10.01 am yesterday at a depth of four meters, approximately 10 meters from where he was initially reported to have fallen into the river. His three friends managed to escape without harm. Dr Shamsuri communicated these details to reporters following the 24th Politeknik Seberang Perai (PSP) Convocation, where PSP director Mohd Ruzi Hamzah was also present.
