Kuala lumpur: Kasumigaseki Capital Co., Ltd. (KC), headquartered in Tokyo's Chiyoda City, announced that it has established a Malaysian subsidiary, KASUMIGASEKI CAPITAL (MALAYSIA) SDN. BHD. (KC (MALAYSIA)), based in Kuala Lumpur. This marks KC's first venture into the ASEAN region, focusing on logistics by leveraging its expertise in frozen and chilled warehouses and the development of automated frozen warehouses.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, KC has executed a sale and purchase agreement for acquiring a plot with a major Malaysian developer, wholly owned by a local company listed on the Main Board of Bursa Malaysia. This acquisition initiates KC's first project in Malaysia, which aims to develop an automated frozen warehouse, solidifying its commitment to expanding its logistics business in the region.
