KLCI Futures Ends Higher Amidst Cash Market Gains

Kuala lumpur: The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contract on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives concluded the day with gains, aligning with the positive performance in the underlying cash market.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the December 2025 contract increased by 4.5 points to 1,644.0. The January, March, and June 2026 contracts each advanced by 5.5 points, reaching 1,647.50, 1,631.0, and 1,634.0, respectively.

Turnover saw a rise, reaching 7,689 lots compared to 5,068 lots on the previous Monday. Additionally, open interest grew to 44,290 contracts, up from 41,488 contracts earlier. By 5 pm, the FBM KLCI had risen by 4.59 points, or 0.28 percent, settling at 1,648.31, up from Monday's close of 1,643.72.
