KLCI Futures Show Mixed Performance Amid Weaker Cash Market

Kuala lumpur: The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures displayed a mixed trend during the early trading session today, reflecting a weaker performance in the cash market.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, as of 9.30 am, the November 2025 futures contract gained 2.0 points to reach 1,624.0, and the December 2025 contract rose by 1.5 points to 1,624.5. In contrast, the March 2026 futures contract fell by 0.5 points to 1,605.0, while the June 2026 contract remained unchanged at 1,609.5.

The turnover for the session stood at 1,157 lots, with open interest recorded at 41,814 contracts. Meanwhile, the benchmark FBM KLCI index experienced a decline of 6.35 points, settling at 1,621.08 after 30 minutes of trading, a decrease from Monday's closing figure of 1,627.43.
