Melaka:The MADANI Kita Programme (PMK) 2026 will be held with the Paya Rumput @ Tangga Batu community at the Krubong People's Housing Programme (PPR) Community Hall this Saturday.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Southern Zone Community Communications Department (J-Kom) director Muhammad Asri Ibrahim stated that the event is expected to draw around 2,000 PPR residents. The programme aims to clearly and accurately communicate the MADANI Government's policies and initiatives in an easy-to-understand manner.

The outreach programme, themed 'Memaknai Harapan Rakyat', will run from 8 am to 4 pm and is expected to be launched by Communications Minister Datuk Seri Fahmi Fadzil. Muhammad Asri highlighted that the event would serve as a platform for direct engagement between people and government representatives, addressing community concerns about the visibility and impact of government initiatives.

More than 30 government agencies, departments, and ministries will participate, offering various benefits to the local community and improving access to services. Muhammad Asri noted that it is the first of its kind in Melaka and plans are in place for expansion to benefit more communities.

Visitors will have access to health services, MyDigital ID registration, Unclaimed Money checks, and MyKad replacement with the New Generation MyKad. Additionally, there will be Jualan Rahmah MADANI and Jualan Agro MADANI events, offering essential goods at affordable prices.

The programme will also feature community fun games, a Community Penalty Shootout League, interactive dam haji games, and a Car Autoshow competition. Free helmet exchanges, motorcycle engine oil changes, haircuts, and the distribution of free seeds and seedlings will also be available.
