Pontian:The three siblings who tragically died in an accident at Jalan Kampung Parit Haji Siraj, Kayu Ara Pasong, were laid to rest together at the Parit Haji Siraj Muslim Cemetery this evening.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the remains of Nor Daniel Aiman Norlizan, 18, Nor Daniel Fikri, 11, and Puteri Naufa Raisha, eight, were returned to their family home after a post-mortem at Pontian Hospital. Over 200 individuals, including family, friends, teachers, and local residents, attended the funeral to pay their final respects.

Funeral prayers took place at Masjid Parit Haji Siraj before the burial. The accident occurred around 7:20 am when Nor Daniel Aiman was riding a motorcycle with his younger siblings to Sekolah Kebangsaan Parit Sapran. They collided with a lorry on their way.

Their mother, Julaiha Munaji, mentioned that her children were determined to attend school, despite being aware that it was closed due to haze. Pontian police chief Supt Hadzrat Hussein Mion Hussain reported that the two younger siblings died at the scene, while Nor Daniel Aiman succumbed to his injuries en route to the hospital. The lorry driver, aged 69, suffered injuries to his hands and knees.
