Unifi arena: Nervousness was the reason for the national women's doubles, Ong Xin Yee-Carmen Ting's early exit in the first round of the 2026 Malaysia Masters tournament. The action at Unifi Arena today saw the seventh seeds of the tournament unexpectedly lose to the Taiwanese pair of Hsieh Yi En-Teng Chun Hsun, with scores of 15-21, 20-22 in a 39-minute match.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, Carmen Ting expressed that nervousness affected their performance. "I think there was a bit of nervousness today. Thinking too much and wanting to win the match so much. Because of that, our game didn't work out," said Carmen after the match.
