Kajang: A man died after suffering breathing difficulties while participating in a 50-kilometre cycling event along the East Klang Valley Expressway (EKVE) yesterday. Kajang district police chief ACP Naazron Abdul Yusof reported that the 27-year-old man collapsed at Kilometre 13 of the route and lost consciousness due to breathing difficulties.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, first aid was administered at the scene before the victim was transported to Ampang Hospital, but he was pronounced dead upon arrival. An autopsy was conducted this morning, and the incident has been classified as a sudden death.

The police chief also advised individuals participating in sports activities to ensure they are in good fitness and health to minimize the risk of injuries or health complications.
