Kuala lumpur: The Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) has issued a weather warning for thunderstorms, heavy rain, and strong winds affecting 10 states until 9 pm today.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the warning indicates that the entire states of Perlis, Kedah, and Penang are expected to experience these weather conditions. In Perak, the affected areas are Kerian, Larut, Matang and Selama, Hulu Perak, Kuala Kangsar, Kinta, Perak Tengah, Kampar, Bagan Datuk, Hilir Perak, Batang Padang, and Muallim.

On the East Coast, similar weather patterns are anticipated in Hulu Terengganu in Terengganu, as well as in the Kelantan areas of Jeli, Tanah Merah, Machang, Kuala Krai, and Gua Musang. Pahang is also expected to be affected, particularly in Lipis, Raub, Jerantut, Bentong, Temerloh, and Maran.

The warning extends to several areas in Selangor, including Sabak Bernam, Kuala Selangor, Hulu Selangor, Kuala Langat, and Sepang. Additionally, the regions of Seremban, Port Dickson, and Rembau in Negeri Sembilan, along with Alor Gajah and Melaka Tengah in Melaka, are forecasted to experience similar adverse weather conditions until tonight.
