Shah Alam: The Selangor State Development Corporation (PKNS) has announced the launch of Linkar 52, a transit-oriented development (TOD) project aimed at providing affordable urban housing solutions for young families and individuals. This initiative is part of PKNS's ongoing efforts to address the challenge of delivering affordable housing in urban areas.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, PKNS Group Chief Executive Officer Datuk Mahmud Abbas highlighted that Linkar 52 is the corporation's first TOD project, consisting of two 33-storey towers with a total of 615 residential units. The project targets individuals and couples who prefer a minimalist lifestyle, offering units with built-up areas ranging from 450 to 850 square feet. These smaller living spaces are designed to reduce maintenance and utility costs.
Mahmud further elaborated on the strategic location of Linkar 52, describing it as an integral part of the SA Sentral project. The development includes 19 retail units and four lifts per tower, with residential units starting at RM351,000. Situated in a modern commercial hub, the project is ideal for young families and singles seeking future investment opportunities with promising returns.
Discussing the project's design, Mahmud emphasized the value PKNS brings to customers through thoughtful architecture. Linkar 52 is located near essential amenities, including a hospital, university, mosque, and eateries, all within one to two kilometres. The residential units boast flexible, modern layouts with natural lighting and efficient ventilation, ensuring a comfortable living environment.
Mahmud also noted that the design prioritizes privacy, with unit entrances not facing each other, enhancing comfort and safety for residents. The development offers an array of modern facilities, such as a swimming pool, playground, gymnasium, and more. Its proximity to major transport links, including the Federal Highway and Dato' Menteri LRT3 Station, adds to its appeal.
Linkar 52, located in Section 14, carries a gross development value (GDV) of RM314.42 million and is anticipated to be completed by the second quarter of 2029. Interested parties can contact PKNS for more information through their sales executive at 03-50220186 or via WhatsApp at 010-9280187.
