Kuala Lumpur: Highway users are encouraged to plan their Aidilfitri journeys in advance using the MyPLUS-TTA digital app to avoid congestion and enjoy a smoother travel experience.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, PLUS Malaysia Berhad (PLUS) chief operating officer Datuk Zakaria Ahmad Zabidi stated that the app provides a digital travel schedule to help users choose the best travel times for the PLUS Highway and East Coast Expressway 2 (LPT2) between March 27 and April 7, 2025. The app is designed to distribute traffic more efficiently, reducing congestion at peak hours and improving overall traffic flow, as mentioned during a briefing on PLUS' Aidilfitri traffic preparations at Persada PLUS.

To encourage more users to follow the MyPLUS-TTA recommendations, PLUS has initiated the 'Follow MyPLUS-TTA for Aidilfitri' campaign. This campaign runs from March 19 to April 6, 2025, and is featured on platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, X (@plus2u), TikTok, YouTube, and LinkedIn.

Zakaria also highlighted that PLUS Highway users who register and adhere to the MyPLUS-TTA schedule have the opportunity to win prizes worth up to RM20,000. These prizes include RM2,500 hotel vouchers for six grand prize winners and RM100 Touch 'n Go eWallet credits for 50 consolation prize winners. He encouraged travelers to plan their trips, follow the MyPLUS-TTA schedule via the PLUS App, and enjoy a smoother and more comfortable journey this Aidilfitri.
