Baku:Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has extended his condolences to Nik Nazmi Nik Ahmad, a leader in Bersama, following the death of his father, Nik Ahmad Nik Hassan, at the age of 96.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Anwar expressed his sadness through a Facebook post, where he prayed for strength and resilience for Nik Nazmi and his family during this difficult time.

Bersama spokesperson Ibrahim Sani confirmed the passing and also conveyed his sympathies to Nik Nazmi and his family. Additionally, Bersama president and former Economy Minister Datuk Seri Rafizi Ramli expressed his condolences, wishing for Allah's mercy upon the deceased and that he be placed among the faithful.
