Pusrawi Rebranding to Enhance Sharia-Compliant Health Services: Zulkifli

Kuala lumpur: The rebranding of the Pusrawi Specialist Hospital is a significant step in reflecting the institution's commitment to providing quality healthcare services based on the value of compassion, aligning with the MADANI Government's goal to improve the well-being of the people.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Minister in the Prime Minister's Department (Religious Affairs) Dr. Zulkifli Hasan stated that the rebranding process encompasses not only the institution's image and corporate identity but also involves upgrading infrastructure, modern facilities, medical equipment, expertise, and the entire ecosystem of the hospital. This initiative aims to establish Pusrawi as a specialist hospital that is Ibadah-friendly, sharia-compliant, and inclusive.

Dr. Zulkifli emphasized that Pusrawi, a well-established healthcare brand, requires structured branding, a clear strategy, and a robust service ecosystem to elevate its status. He highlighted that this effort is an indicator of the Rahmatan lil Alamin (Mercy to all creations) concept, promoting an inclusive and value-based approach in offering the best healthcare services to all segments of society. His remarks came during a press conference following the rebranding event of Pusrawi Specialist Hospital Kuala Lumpur and the inauguration of the Azman Hashim Cancer Treatment Department (JRKAH).

The rebranding occasion was also attended by Pusrawi Heritage Sdn Bhd chairman Tan Sri Syed Zainal Abidin Syed Mohamed Tahir and AmBank Group chairman emeritus and honorary advisor Tan Sri Azman Hashim, who also serves as the chairman of the Azman Hashim Foundation. The Pusrawi Specialist Hospital Kuala Lumpur, initially established in 1984 at Wisma Baitulmal, Jalan Ipoh, moved to Jalan Tun Razak in 2006. Formerly known as Hospital Pusrawi Sdn Bhd, it is a private hospital wholly owned by the Federal Territory Islamic Religious Council, under Pusrawi Holdings Heritage Sdn Bhd.

Regarding JRKAH, Dr. Zulkifli expressed satisfaction with the facilities and services offered, noting that they align with current cancer treatment needs. He encouraged the healthcare institution to actively engage with the community to raise awareness about the rising incidence of cancer and the importance of early prevention and treatment.

He further stated that while generating income for operational sustainability, Pusrawi must continue fulfilling its social responsibility through initiatives aimed at raising public awareness about cancer and its treatment, consistent with the MADANI Government's agenda of maximizing public assistance.

JRKAH represents a strategic initiative by Pusrawi Specialist Hospital Kuala Lumpur to enhance comprehensive and integrated cancer treatment services, established with a RM5.8 million contribution from the Azman Hashim Foundation.
