Balok: Replacement work on the component that caused the power outage at Balok Health Clinic here has been carried out, and steps are also being taken to assess the need to upgrade the facility. Political Secretary to the Prime Minister Datuk Ahmad Farhan Fauzi said the disruption was caused by a faulty Earth Leakage Circuit Breaker (ELCB) in the clinic's electrical distribution box (DB Box), and the damaged component has since been replaced.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Datuk Ahmad Farhan Fauzi mentioned that his office has been in contact with the Ministry of Health and the Implementation Coordination Unit of the Prime Minister's Department to assess the need to upgrade the clinic to ensure a similar incident does not recur. He emphasized the importance of these steps to improve the healthcare facility and meet the community's needs in the long term.

He also expressed appreciation to the healthcare personnel at the clinic for their continued commitment in carrying out their duties and providing services to the public despite the disruption. He added that he would continue to monitor developments related to the issue and ensure appropriate action is coordinated with the relevant agencies for the benefit of the people.
