Baku:Sarawak All schools and educational institutions under the Ministry of Education in Sarawak will continue to operate as usual tomorrow, despite the haze affecting several areas in the state. However, any outdoor activities will be suspended if the Air Pollutant Index (API) reading exceeds 100.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, the Sarawak Education Department has advised that students attending school should wear face masks as a precaution due to the current haze situation. Additionally, parents and guardians have the option to keep their children at home if they are concerned about health risks, provided they notify the school.
Previously, the department announced the temporary closure of all primary and secondary schools under the Serian, Sri Aman, and Lubok Antu District Education Offices. During this closure, Teaching and Learning at Home (PdPR) was implemented.
