Bintulu: The government has directed all Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) facilities in Bintulu, Sarawak, to enhance their security protocols immediately in response to a security threat targeting these sites.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, the National Security Council (MKN) released a statement indicating that the decision aims to facilitate security forces and relevant agencies in conducting prompt investigations into the threat. The council emphasized the importance of avoiding speculation regarding the situation and assured that updates will be communicated as necessary.
The statement further noted that national security agencies are on high alert and have already implemented control measures to address the security concerns. The public has been urged to remain calm while authorities work to mitigate the threat.
