Selangor PKPS and KPDN Announce 2026 Mega Aidiladha Sale

Selangor: The Selangor Agricultural Development Corporation (PKPS), in collaboration with the Domestic Trade and Cost of Living Ministry (KPDN), has announced the 2026 Rahmah MADANI - Mega Aidiladha Sale scheduled for May 23 to 24. This event is organized in conjunction with the Hari Raya Aidiladha celebrations to assist Malaysians in acquiring daily necessities at reduced and affordable prices.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, PKPS group chief executive officer Datuk Dr Mohamad Khairil Mohamad Razi highlighted the primary goal of the two-day sale, which is to aid in reducing the cost of living by offering essential items at promotional prices. The sale will feature a wide range of daily necessities and Aidiladha-specific products, enabling consumers to save more during the festive season.

The sale is set to occur at eight selected locations across Selangor from 9 am to 2 pm. Items such as chicken, fish, beef, rice, eggs, cooking oil, flour, beehoon, sardines, biscuits, detergent, and disposable diapers will be available at discounted rates. For May 23, the sale locations include Dataran Bougainvilla, Kampung Sungai Kertas; the grounds of Nurul Hidayah Mosque, Kampung Pandan Dalam; Dataran Pantai Batu Laut; and the Sabak Bernam parliamentary office, Bagan Nakhoda Omar. On May 24, the sale will take place at Balai Penghulu Telok Panglima Garang; the grounds of Taman Kem Flats, Port Klang; Dataran Ilmu Bandar Baru Selayang; and the Sungai Buloh Econsave parking lot.

Visitors will have the opportunity to purchase various items at promotional prices, such as chicken for RM10, 900 grams of fish for RM6.50, flour for RM2, beehoon for RM2.50, and a tray of Grade B eggs for RM7. Other offers include detergent for RM14, 900 grams of beef for RM10, 5 kilograms of rice for RM12, sardines for RM5.50, biscuits for RM3, 2 kilograms of cooking oil for RM10, and disposable diapers for RM7.

Mohamad Khairil emphasized the importance of visitors bringing their identification cards for registration and stressed that the availability of promotional items depends on current stock levels at each location. In addition to the main sale, PKPS is offering the Raya Haji Ehsan Mart Promo, running from May 15 to 31, at three Ehsan Mart branches: Ehsan Mart Sungai Tua, Selayang; Ehsan Mart Pandan Utama; and Ehsan Mart Taman Melawati. This offers consumers additional options for preparing for Aidiladha, with promotional products such as frozen cockles, cili giling, kerisik, spices, and fried chicken.

Mohamad Khairil expressed his hope that these initiatives would support Muslims in their Aidiladha preparations while helping to reduce their financial burden.
