Selangor: Sultan of Selangor Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah has congratulated a member of the Royal Malaysian Navy's (RMN) Special Naval Forces (PASKAL) for his outstanding achievement in the Sniper Infantry Course at the PLA Infantry Academy's Shijiazhuang Campus in Hebei, China.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the Sultan, who is also the Captain-in-Chief of the Royal Malaysian Navy (RMN), expressed pride that the officer won the Excellent Student Award, making him the overall top student in the course held from March 1 to July 31. The Sultan highlighted the officer's receipt of the Certificate of Honors - Excellent Cadre and Silver Badge Medals, which were awarded based on his performance in the course assessment.

The officer's accomplishment as the top performer among 131 students from more than 24 countries was recognized by Sultan Sharafuddin as a significant achievement. He emphasized that this success will serve as an example to other PASKAL officers and personnel, motivating them to work diligently to bring honor to the force and the country.

Additionally, Sultan Sharafuddin extended his congratulations to RMN Chief Admiral Tan Sri Dr Zulhelmy Ithnain and all PASKAL and RMN personnel for their role in bringing honor to Malaysia.
