Negeri sembilan: Negeri Sembilan Menteri Besar Datuk Ismail Lasim has outlined stability, progress, and prosperity as the three main pillars of the new state administration to ensure effective public service delivery. He emphasized that these pillars would guide the administration in tackling public issues, speeding up administrative processes, and enhancing the people's standard of living.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Ismail stressed the importance of building a stable state in terms of institutions, administration, and politics, beyond just holding majority support in the State Legislative Assembly. He highlighted the necessity of ensuring the stability of the Constitutional Monarchy and customs, which serve as the state's foundation while implementing policies that boost public and investor confidence. He made these remarks at the Negeri Sembilan State-Level Public Servants Assembly and during the launch of the Kibar Jalur Gemilang campaign.

Progress, Ismail noted, should be assessed not only by economic growth but also by creating opportunities, attracting quality investments, and ensuring balanced development to distribute prosperity equitably. He emphasized that development should not be limited to major towns but should include rural areas, such as Felda settlements, to ensure holistic progress.

He shared that state revenue had reached RM522.4 million so far, expressing optimism that the RM1 billion revenue target by 2030 is attainable. The Juasseh assemblyman reported that Negeri Sembilan's GDP was RM55.8 billion last year, up from RM54.3 billion the previous year, marking a 2.6 percent growth driven by the services and manufacturing sectors.

Meanwhile, Ismail mentioned that the diverse experience, expertise, and fresh energy within the newly appointed State Executive Council (Exco) would fortify the state administration in reaching its objectives. He emphasized that collaboration between the Exco and the public service could enhance Negeri Sembilan's competitiveness in investment and business, create more opportunities for youth, and strengthen the agricultural and rural economic sectors.

'We are managing the expectations of more than 1.2 million citizens of Negeri Sembilan. Let us move forward as one team, united in determination and purpose, to build a trusted government and a respected public service,' Ismail stated.

In a related development, Ismail urged government departments and agencies, local authorities, schools, business premises, and state residents to display the Jalur Gemilang in celebration of National Day.
