Kuala Lumpur: Taiwan Excellence brought a wave of kindness and sustainability to Malaysia with the official debut of its global 'Give Me Five! A Better Life' campaign, featuring its beloved mascot, FuBear, at the popular Jom Heboh Carnival, held at KL Base, Sungai Besi from May 30 to June 1. The campaign aims to spread love, care, and positive energy across borders.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, the Give Me Five campaign invites people from around the world to interact with FuBear both online and offline through the simple act of giving a high five. Conceived on the values of sustainability and charity, the campaign reflects Taiwan Excellence's strong commitment to societal and environmental issues and will make its way through 11 regions including Taiwan, the United States, and the United Kingdom.
The FuBear mascot is more than just a cute symbol; it embodies the spirit of care, inclusivity, and innovation. FuBear travels globally, inviting people from all walks of life to join hands or rather paws in passing on warmth and positivity. Taiwan Excellence noted that the campaign is adapted to suit each country's local needs in supporting causes such as environmental protection, public health, and community care.
At this year's Jom Heboh Carnival, Taiwan Excellence expanded beyond physical borders by creating both online and on-site interactive experiences for visitors. Participants could high-five FuBear on the official campaign website and share their interaction on social media to redeem a halal-certified Taiwanese drink, the popular Lao Tao Ke 'Winter Melon Tea'. On-site, FuBear appeared in person for scheduled high-five sessions with visitors.
The statement added that participants who donated RM5 to REACH Segamat, a centre for children with autism, received a special limited-edition eco storage bag themed after Malaysia's iconic Nasi Lemak. The eco bag, handcrafted by members of the Malaysian Creative Sewing Arts Association (PSJKM) using recycled fabric made by underprivileged families, highlights both Malaysia's traditional craftsmanship and a shared commitment to sustainability and social impact.
The campaign will continue to build momentum at the upcoming Taiwan Expo in Malaysia, set to take place from June 23 to 25 at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC). During the expo, FuBear will attempt to set a new record for 'Most High Fives in One Minute' in hopes of entering the Malaysia Book of Records.
