Bangkok: The Halal and Organic Showcases at THAIFEX-ANUGA ASIA 2025, organised last week by Thailand's Department of International Trade Promotion (DITP) at IMPACT Muang Thong Thani, Bangkok, highlighted efforts to expand the global reach of the country's halal and organic food exports.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, THAIFEX-Anuga Asia stated that the showcase, held from May 27 to 31, was organised in response to the rising global demand for halal and organic food. This event forms part of the agency's strategic initiative to enhance the capabilities of Thai entrepreneurs working within these burgeoning sectors.

The statement emphasized the importance of supporting Thai entrepreneurs in the halal and organic sectors. By doing so, Thailand is not only addressing global consumer trends but also unlocking new trade opportunities that are expected to fortify the country's position in the international market.

The Halal Showcase presented high-quality halal food products certified by both domestic and international bodies. In parallel, the Organic Showcase spotlighted food products created from certified organic ingredients, all approved by reputable accreditation bodies.

Products in the Halal Showcase included processed foods, snacks, beverages, and natural cooking ingredients. These products are noted for their quality, authentic taste, and production processes that strictly comply with Islamic principles. Meanwhile, the Organic Showcase featured an extensive array of food and beverage items, as well as premium-quality cooking ingredients.

The initiative is also designed to stimulate economic growth while enhancing the credibility and global image of Thai products in the eyes of importers and buyers worldwide.
