Kuala lumpur: The Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) has issued a warning of thunderstorms, heavy rain, and strong winds expected to impact seven states until 9 pm tonight.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the affected regions include Kedah, specifically Sik and Baling, and Perak, encompassing Hulu Perak and Batang Padang. These weather conditions are anticipated to extend to Terengganu, affecting Setiu, Kuala Nerus, Hulu Terengganu, Kuala Terengganu, and Marang.

Pahang is also on alert, with areas such as Cameron Highlands, Lipis, Jerantut, Maran, Kuantan, Pekan, and Rompin expected to experience similar conditions. In Johor, the regions of Kluang, Mersing, Kulai, Kota Tinggi, and Johor Bahru are under the weather warning.

Further extending to Sarawak, areas including Kuching, Serian, Samarahan, Sarikei, Sibu, Mukah, Kapit, Bintulu, Miri, and Limbang are expected to be affected by the adverse weather conditions.

In Sabah, the regions anticipated to experience bad weather include the Interior areas of Sipitang and Tambunan, the West Coast regions of Tuaran and Ranau, Tawau's Lahad Datu, Sandakan covering Telupid, Kinabatangan, and Beluran, and Kudat's Pitas.
