Thunderstorms and Heavy Rain Forecasted for Multiple Regions in Malaysia

Kuala lumpur: The Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) has issued a warning of thunderstorms, heavy rain, and strong winds in five states until 11 pm today.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the adverse weather conditions are anticipated to impact multiple areas in Peninsular Malaysia, specifically Kelantan, covering Kota Bharu, Bachok, Machang, and Pasir Puteh; Terengganu, affecting Kemaman; and Pahang, including Jerantut, Temerloh, Maran, and Kuantan.

In East Malaysia, similar warnings have been issued. In Sarawak, the region of Limbang, particularly Lawas, is expected to experience the adverse weather. Meanwhile, in Sabah, the Interior regions of Nabawan and Keningau, the West Coast area of Ranau, and Sandakan, covering Tongod, Telupid, Beluran, and Sandakan, are also likely to be affected.

MetMalaysia urges residents in these areas to stay updated with the latest weather information and take necessary precautions to ensure safety amid the forecasted severe weather conditions.
