YTL AI Cloud Achieves NVIDIA Exemplar Cloud Status

Kuala lumpur: YTL Artificial Intelligence (AI) Cloud has officially achieved the NVIDIA Exemplar Cloud status, marking it as one of the first cloud infrastructure providers in Asia to attain this status. This recognition places YTL AI Cloud among an elite group of global hyperscalers and AI-specialised clouds.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the NVIDIA Exemplar Cloud initiative is a highly rigorous operational and architectural blueprint aimed at reducing the variance and performance degradation commonly found in public cloud environments. This recognition confirms that YTL's infrastructure meets or exceeds NVIDIA's stringent performance, efficiency, and scalability targets.

YTL Power International managing director, Datuk Seri Yeoh Seok Hong, stated that being one of the first NVIDIA Exemplar Clouds in Asia demonstrates the company's capability to lead in building a sovereign, world-class AI infrastructure that performs at par with leading global hyperscalers. Meanwhile, YTL AI Cloud CEO, Philip Lin, noted that achieving this status validates the organisation's ability to manage intensive, real-world AI workloads, thereby reducing operational and infrastructure risks for customers.

The validation ensures enterprise customers can achieve deterministic, predictable performance against NVIDIA's benchmarking recipes, baselines, and reference workload expectations, thus maximizing return on infrastructure investment. This achievement strengthens YTL AI Cloud's position as a leading AI infrastructure provider and expands access to advanced AI computing capabilities for businesses, researchers, developers, and public sector organizations across Malaysia and the wider region.

Marc Hamilton, NVIDIA Solutions Architecture and Engineering vice-president, remarked that YTL AI Cloud, which is developed according to NVIDIA Cloud Partner Reference Architecture standards, will facilitate the advancement of sovereign AI adoption, frontier model development, and scientific research across the region. Since the Exemplar Cloud's introduction last year, a total of six NCPs, including YTL AI Cloud, have achieved this status.

The growing roster of Exemplar Cloud providers reflects the increasing demand for AI cloud infrastructure capable of delivering consistent performance, reliability, and efficiency for production AI workloads. These providers are enhancing the performance standards across the AI cloud ecosystem, offering enterprises, developers, and AI labs more validated options for scaling training, inference, and agentic AI services.
