Kuala lumpur: In a strategic move to strengthen its operations in Southeast Asia, Prudential has announced the appointment of Ang to a pivotal role where he will report directly to the regional chief executive officer for Malaysia, Indonesia, and Vietnam, John Cai.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, John Cai expressed confidence in Ang's ability to drive the company forward, citing his extensive leadership experience of over two decades. Ang has a proven track record in business transformation, strategic growth, and enhancing organisational agility across the Asian continent. Cai emphasized that Ang's deep market insight, visionary leadership, and people-first approach will be crucial as the company aims to bolster its presence and fulfill its mission in Malaysia.

Ang, upon his appointment, remarked on the strong legacy Prudential holds and expressed enthusiasm about collaborating with the team to enhance customer focus and promote sustainable growth.
