Kuala lumpur: Asteel Group Bhd's subsidiary, Asteel Synergy Sdn Bhd, has been awarded a RM10.1 million contract by EC Bina Sdn Bhd for the supply, delivery, and installation of roof finishing for a factory building in Selangor.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the contract was detailed in a Bursa Malaysia filing, where it was stated that the scope of work encompasses the supply, delivery, installation, completion, testing, and commissioning of roof finishing and associated works for 157 factory units located in Mukim Tanjung Duabelas, Daerah Kuala Langat, Selangor Darul Ehsan. The project is scheduled to commence on August 17, 2025, with a construction period of eight months.

Asteel Group highlighted that this project would bolster the group's project portfolio and offer a competitive edge in acquiring future construction contracts. The company anticipates that, barring any unforeseen circumstances, the project will positively impact its future earnings and earnings per share.
