Floods In Melaka Fully Subside Allowing Evacuees To Return Home

Kuala lumpur: Floods in Melaka fully subsided tonight after all evacuees housed at three temporary relief centres were allowed to return home.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the Melaka State Disaster Management Committee (JPBN) Secretariat announced that the temporary relief centre at the State Legislative Assembly Development and Coordination Committee (Japerun) Hall in the Melaka Tengah district was closed at 7.52 pm today.

The secretariat also stated that the two relief centres in Jasin, namely SK Serkam Darat and SK Bukit Tembakau, were closed at 6 pm today. This closure marks the end of the flood relief efforts, allowing residents to safely return to their homes.
