Kuantan: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim today donated RM10,000 to Nor Riza Embong, whose house was destroyed in a fire in Bandar Indera Mahkota Jaya, Kuantan, Pahang. The cash donation was handed to her by the Prime Minister's political secretary, Datuk Ahmad Farhan Fauzi, who visited Nor Riza at her residence.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Ahmad Farhan shared in a Facebook post that the home was almost completely destroyed, but fortunately, no lives were lost. He acknowledged the challenging situation Nor Riza's family now faces, having lost their place of shelter.

Ahmad Farhan expressed hope that the donation could provide some relief to Nor Riza's family during this difficult time. He also extended his gratitude to all parties who assisted during and after the incident, particularly highlighting the efforts of the Fire and Rescue Department, the Implementation Coordination Unit (ICU) of the Prime Minister's Department (JPM), and the local community for their quick response and support.
