Kuala lumpur: The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contracts on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives opened almost flat in early trade on Tuesday.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, at 9.17 am, the August 2026 contract stood at 1,736.0, while the September 2026 contract eased by half a point to 1,714.5. The December 2026 contract remained at 1,714.0, and the March 2027 contract stood at 1,700.5.

Turnover was recorded at 1,046, with open interest totaling 41,870 contracts. By 9.41 am, the FBM KLCI index showed a decline of 2.52 points, settling at 1,732.85 compared to Monday's closing figure of 1,735.37.
